Why I built countdowns for holidays even though I build productivity tools.
Most of what I build is for productivity - Pomodoro timers, study timers, workout intervals. But event countdowns are different. They're not about getting things done. They're about anticipation.
I added them because people kept asking. And honestly, there's something satisfying about watching the days tick down to a vacation or holiday. The anticipation is half the fun.
